The pair first met back in Year 7 at secondary school, where they briefly dated before life took them in different directions. Years later, fate brought them back together, and after reconnecting around seven years ago, they realised the spark had never truly disappeared.
Fast forward to today, and they celebrated their wedding surrounded by the people who have watched their story come full circle.

In 2024, Damien surprised Kristie with a proposal at Alton Towers, turning a fun-filled day together into one they'll remember forever.
From childhood sweethearts to finding each other again years later, it was the perfect next chapter in their story.
A Rustic Wedding with a Touch of Halloween
Kristie and Damien chose the stunning Rockbeare Manor for their wedding day, blending elegant surroundings with rustic styling and subtle Halloween-inspired touches that reflected their personalities perfectly.
The warm autumnal details, beautiful florals and cosy atmosphere made the day feel incredibly personal while complementing the timeless elegance of the manor.
One moment they were both especially looking forward to?
Their first look.
Before the ceremony, they shared a quiet moment together away from the excitement, giving themselves the chance to take everything in before saying "I do." It was such an emotional part of the day and one of my favourite moments to photograph.

Throughout the day, I focused on capturing genuine moments as they happened, from the excitement of the morning preparations to the emotional ceremony, laughter during the drinks reception and the celebrations that carried on long into the evening.
Rather than interrupting the day with endless posing, I let events unfold naturally while offering gentle guidance whenever needed. This allowed Kristie and Damien to spend more time celebrating with their family and friends while still creating beautiful, relaxed
portraits around the grounds.
The result was a gallery filled with authentic memories that truly reflected how their wedding day felt.

Licensed for civil ceremonies, Rockbeare Manor offers several beautiful spaces to say "I do", including the light-filled Ballroom, the romantic Garden Room and the picturesque Outdoor Pavilion for couples dreaming of an outdoor ceremony. The venue can accommodate intimate celebrations as well as larger weddings, with space for up to 160 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 200 evening guests. Every wedding enjoys exclusive use of the manor and its grounds, allowing couples to celebrate in complete privacy.
